Jvalant currently owns a CSR Consulting firm in Bombay, Crosspollinate. He has been an Indian and World War-II history buff and adventurer for most of his life. He acquired his degree with a Major in IT and a Liberal Arts Concentration in English from the Rochester Institute of Technology, New York and then his MBA from the Copenhagen Business School in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Tenth Unknown is his first novel.

A period novel set just prior to the advent and during World War-II in Pre-Independence India, Asia and Europe. It endeavors to mix myth, fact and fiction to produce a high-octane and heady cocktail. Three men - a patriotic Nazi and an honorable English soldier are joined by a reluctant Indian cricketer in a race to acquire forbidden knowledge which will change the course of the World War and of history itself. Spanning from the time of the Asoka Empire to the middle of the 20th century, The Tenth Unknown moves at a rapid clip across India, UK, Ireland, United States, Canada, the Soviet Union, Afghanistan, Singapore, Nepal, Bhutan, Cambodia, Papua New Guinea and Sri Lanka amongst many others.
