Prem Panicker is a journalist and editor with 34 years of experience spanning print and digital. He was one of the founding editors of Rediff.com, India’s first standalone news website. He has served as managing editor of Yahoo India; as editor of the New York-based India Abroad; and as a founding editor of people.org, an independent website focussed on deep, immersive storytelling. He has co-taught longform storytelling and editing alongside the likes of two-time Pulitzer Prize-winner Paul Salopek and ace photojournalist and writer Arati Kumar-Rao. Currently, he edits books and is consulting editor for IndiaSpend.
