Sitara has just about had it.
She’s a 29-year-old lawyer and her career isn’t going anywhere. To add to her woes, her colleague Rohan, whom she’s madly in love with, only seems to find her when he needs a plus one for a party. Still, she keeps showing up—for work, and Rohan.
Secretly, Sitara dreams of quitting her job to pursue one of her side projects: completing that fantasy fiction novel, kick-starting her bakery, or launching her upcycling business. But terrified of betting on herself, she continues to push harder, hoping her law degree will pay off and things with Rohan will eventually fall into place.
Sitara keeps running into Samar, her sworn frenemy. He’s taken her on as his charity case, seeing her untapped potential, something it seems only he recognizes. Sitara feels drawn to Samar and this annoys her. Her life is tough enough, she doesn’t need the added complication of mixed feelings. Or for him to remind her that her business idea is worth working on.
After spending nearly 3 decades prioritizing others, will Sitara finally choose herself and have the courage to pursue the reality that life has been pointing toward all along? Will she let go of her self-doubt and make the right choices?
