Vipul Rikhi is a writer, singer, poet, storyteller and translator. He has been immersed in the oral traditions of Kabir and other mystic poets for over a decade. He sings mystic poetry in the folk music traditions and performs widely in India and abroad. He has authored several books, including a novel, a collection of poems, and a book of translations from the Bhakti, Sufi and Baul traditions. He was a fellow for literature at the Akademie Schloss Solitude in Germany in 2009-10. His most recent book is Drunk on Love (2023), on the life and philosophy of the poet Kabir, with HarperCollins India.
