Kala Krishnan

Kala Krishnan has two books of poetry in print: He Is Honey, Salt and the Most Perfect Grammar and Offer Him All Things Charred, Burned & Cindered. She also has published, the first part of a fiction trilogy based on Murugan, the ancient God of Tamizh, and is currently working on part three, while the second is due in March 2024.

She lives and works in Bangalore, where she teaches Indian literatures and writing to degree classes. She has a keen interest in many Indian languages, of which she has in print, and forthcoming, translations from Sanskrit and Tamizh.
