At his studio, Goyal works in close collaboration with master artisans, particularly in metalwork. Every piece is handcrafted on-site, fostering innovation, technical dialogue, and reinterpretations of historical forms. The studio’s work is represented by international design galleries including Nilufar Gallery (Italy) and The Future Perfect (USA), and it collaborates with leading houses such as De Gournay.
Through Viya, Goyal extends his design language into everyday living, creating objects and textiles in collaboration with platforms like Cabana and 1stDibs. His first book, Shringara of Shrinathji, drew from his family’s private collection of miniature paintings, while his forthcoming publication will survey Indian design in the post-independence era.
His designs have been exhibited at PAD London, Design Miami, and India Art Fair, and he has been recognized by Architectural Digest India as one of the 100 most influential architects and interior designers, as well as receiving the Elle Decor India Designer of the Year award. Beyond design, he supports wildlife conservation through The Elephant Family and its mission to protect the Asian elephant.
