Satyarth Nayak

Satyarth Nayak is the bestselling author of the magnum opus Mahagatha – 100 Tales from Puranas, published by HarperCollins. Acclaimed by readers for ‘imparting lessons for our understanding of humanity’, and translated into Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati and Chinese, Mahagatha became a National Bestseller, crossing 1 Lakh copies. Satyarth’s previous book, Sridevi – The Eternal Screen Goddess, published by Penguin in 2019, also met with high praise as ‘a definitive work of literature to decode the legend.’ His debut novel, The Emperor’s Riddles, released in 2014, earned comparisons with Dan Brown for being a ‘history meets mystery.’ As a screenwriter, he has scripted Sony’s mega-historical TV show, Porus, touted as India’s most expensive series that aired from 2017 to 2019. Recipient of Dainik Jagaran’s Kriti Samman 2026 and a former SAARC Award winning Correspondent with CNN-IBN, Satyarth holds a Masters in English Literature from St. Stephen’s.
