Sharmishtha Shenoy is an accomplished author renowned for her contributions to crime fiction and mystery. She has authored the compelling True Crime novel, The Hyderabad Heist, with another novel in the same genre, titled Candle in the Wind, currently in the pipeline, both published by Rupa Publications.
Shenoy is also the mastermind behind the Vikram Rana Mystery Series, which includes titles such as Vikram Rana Investigates, A Season for Dying, Behind the Scenes, Fatal Fallout, Silent Witness, A Thousand Scars – Book 1: The Hunter, A Thousand Scars – Book 2: The Hunted. Additionally, she has released a collection of short stories titled Quirky Tales and the standalone thriller Murder in the Chowdhury Palace, published by Vishwakarma Publications.
Before pursuing writing, Shenoy held positions as an IT professional at esteemed organizations like TCS, Satyam, Infosys, and Microsoft.
